Move your saved articles from your phone to Kindle with KTool

You open your phone to read an article someone sent, then notice a message and forget the article. Sending the page to Kindle gives you another place to finish it.

A Kindle is still a screen. The change you can make with KTool is moving selected reading away from the phone or computer where you also check messages and browse feeds.

Send the article while the link is open

Install a KTool app or browser extension on the device you use to discover articles. Send the page when you decide it deserves a longer read. If you are already at the dashboard, paste the link into Quick Send.

You can send it directly to Kindle or collect it in a magazine. Use direct delivery for a piece you intend to read soon; use a daily or weekly collection when you are gathering several articles.

Once you have sent the page, close the tab if you no longer need it for your current task. Keep a source link in your notes for anything you plan to cite or revisit on the web.

Choose a limited reading queue

Before delivery, look through your magazine and keep the pieces you still want to read. Sending every saved link transfers the backlog to another device.

Try preparing only enough material for your next session. If you read on the bus, make sure the document has downloaded before you leave. If you read at home, put the Kindle where you normally reach for your phone.

Email newsletters can follow the same routine. Forward a selected issue to your KTool inbox, or configure a forwarding rule for a publication after checking that its format converts well.

Check whether you changed the habit

After a week, look at your phone's own screen-time report and think about which articles you finished on Kindle. KTool doesn't measure phone use or time spent reading.

If you are reading the articles but still opening the same feeds just as often, adjust when you browse for new material. You could choose links during one planned visit and leave the rest until the next day.

Some content belongs on a larger or more interactive screen. Keep the original page for videos, detailed visual work, or anything you need to respond to immediately. Start by moving the long text pieces you already wish you had finished.
